The AI Readiness Engine
Map it
before you automate it.
Point AI at a chaotic process and you don't fix it — you scale the chaos at lightning speed. LTC-OS gets the know-how out of people's heads and into a documented, AI-readable map: who does what, where the time goes, where the work actually happens.

25+ years on factory floors — Tetra Pak, Stora Enso, Oatly, Nobia, Galderma. Now a platform, not a consulting retainer.
For Whom
Three moments when processes break faster than org charts can fix them.
Makigami works for any admin process. VSM works for any company producing goods. These tools are universal — but three trigger situations burn the loudest right now.
The AI Mandate
Leadership wants AI in every process by next quarter. But a model can only automate what's been mapped — point it at a chaotic process and you scale the chaos, not the output. Map the flow first, then automate the part that's actually ready.
The Demand Surge
Pharma, defense, medtech, energy — demand just doubled. Capacity didn't. Overtime masks the waste; mapping the flow shows where hours actually disappear so you add throughput, not headcount.
The Outgrown Process
You grew by patching. Ten years of workarounds, three ERP migrations, four re-orgs — and nobody can draw the current state end-to-end. Before the next change, make the chaos visible.

Talk to us →The Problem
You don't have a people problem. You have an invisibility problem.
Every factory and every office runs on three kinds of waste that nobody writes down because nobody can see them. Until you draw them.
"Where there is no standard, there can be no kaizen." — Taiichi Ohno
01 · Chaos
Nobody knows the real process.
Ask five people to describe the order-to-ship flow and you'll get five different maps. The one on the wall is three years and two ERPs out of date. Decisions get made against fiction.
02 · Handoffs
Handoffs eat more time than the work.
The machine cycle is 40 seconds. The order spends 11 days between people, inboxes and "waiting for clarification." Speed lives in the white space, not the value-added steps.
03 · Shadow
Half the work isn't in any system.
Senior operators and admins run parallel spreadsheets, side-channel chats and heroic workarounds. When they leave, the knowledge leaves. When they stay, the knowledge never scales.
The Platform
One canvas to map the work. One sensei to question it. Built for anyone getting ready to automate.
LeanTheCompany is a browser-based lean transformation platform. No consulting retainer, no six-month rollout — start mapping in ten minutes, coach yourself with an embedded sensei trained on 25+ years of shop-floor kaizen.
Makigami canvas for admin flow
Swim-lane the invisible back office — sales, engineering, purchasing, finance. See every handoff, every decision, every waiting triangle that doesn't show up on the shop floor.
Value Stream Mapping canvas
Drag-and-drop process boxes, inventory triangles, kaizen bursts and information flows. Cycle time, lead time and %C&A calculate themselves. Current state, future state, side by side.
Embedded AI Sensei
Ask "where's my biggest waste?" and get a direct answer, not a textbook. Trained on Ohno, Rother and three decades of field notes — Japanese in tone, pragmatic in delivery.
Kaizen tracker
Turn insights into PDCA cycles with owners, deadlines, before/after photos. Nothing gets lost in email. Nothing gets celebrated too early.
Compass & North Star
Set the North Star and the value priorities up top, so every map and every pilot below ties back to what the business actually needs. The CEO, the plant manager and the Lean coach finally read from one shared truth.
One-page A3 report
Export every pilot as a printable A3 in English, Swedish or Chinese. The universal language of Toyota, fit for your next management review.
What you get
What's live today — and what's landing next.
Makigami is live the moment you sign in. The value-stream canvas, the embedded sensei and the one-page A3 export are landing through the Founding-100 build. Hover any preview to see where each is headed.
Makigami swim-lane canvas
Live nowThe back-office twin. Sales, engineering, purchasing — every handoff and every wait the shop floor never sees. Print it on the wall and the whole organisation suddenly speaks the same language.
Value Stream Mapping canvas
In developmentDrag process boxes, draw flow arrows, drop inventory triangles. Cycle time, lead time and %C&A roll up automatically. The first canvas every founding member draws.
Embedded AI Sensei
In developmentAsk in plain English, Swedish or Mandarin. Trained on Ohno, Rother and three decades of field notes. Pragmatic, not preachy. Cites its sources so the operator can push back.
One-page A3 export
In developmentThe universal language of every Toyota Production System review on Earth. Print it. Pin it. Walk it. Founding members ship A3s in EN, SV and ZH from day one.

What's coming
Three ways to use it. One product, built once.
We're not selling the platform yet — we're building it. The first 100 founding members get 30 days free when it opens, then their price locked for life. Privilege, not discount.
Founding 100
Be one of the first 100. Pay full price. Lock that price forever.
When access opens, founding members get 30 days free — no card. After that, founders pay their tier's full founding rate — and that price never moves for them, ever. You also get a quarterly Founders' Roundtable with me, your company on the Founding 100 honour roll (with permission), and first call on every new module before it ships. We chose privilege over discount because customers who pay full price build a sharper product. Cancel anytime — no long-term commitment from your side, only the price-lock from ours.

Three industries. One repeating problem. That's why this exists.
Ten years at Tetra Pak. Five at Efeso Consulting. Twelve more as an Efeso contractor running WCOM and TPM rollouts at Stora Enso, SCA, BillerudKorsnäs, Oatly, Galderma and Nobia — Sweden, Finland, the Netherlands, the United States, China, UK. Different industries — the same three problems on every shop floor.
I started at Tetra Pak in 1999 and spent a decade inside one of the world's most disciplined food-packaging machinery businesses. Lean wasn't an initiative there — it was how the lifts worked, how meetings ended, how line-side parts were laid out. That's where I learned the trade.
From 2009 to 2014 I was at Efeso Consulting, running lean transformations across Europe and Asia. During those same years I also took operator stints at FrieslandCampina and Heineken via Asia Pacific Breweries. Same period, two angles — client-side and consultant-side. The same three failure patterns showed up in every diagnostic. Nobody could see the real flow. Handoffs ate more time than the work. The best operators ran shadow systems that left with them when they retired.
From 2014 onwards I've worked as an Efeso contractor leading WCOM (World Class Operations Management) and TPM rollouts. Stora Enso across Sweden, Finland and China. SCA and BillerudKorsnäs in Sweden — three forest & packaging giants, each running the same playbook against the same gravity. Oatly across their plants in Sweden, the Netherlands, the United States and China — building the daily management system and pillar structure that scaled with them through Covid, when they were one of the few clients who could still get me onto site (they hired me direct for a stretch). Galderma in pharma. Nobia in kitchens, UK and Sweden. Twelve more years of the same diagnostics, refined into a method I could run in any plant in any sector.
Consultants solve this one plant at a time, at €2,000 a day, and the moment they leave the gravity reasserts. I wanted a tool a 26-year-old shift supervisor could open on a Sunday evening, map her own line, and walk in Monday with a better standard. That is what LeanTheCompany is.

Stora Enso · SCA · BillerudKorsnäs · Oatly · Galderma · Nobia
Six blue-chip WCOM and TPM rollouts as an Efeso contractor (Oatly even brought me in-house for a stretch). On top of ten years inside Tetra Pak, five at Efeso direct, and operator stints at FrieslandCampina and Heineken APB.
China & SE Asia 2004–2014
A decade based out of Shanghai and across Asia Pacific. Mandarin-capable. Comfortable where schematics, standards and soy sauce meet.
